Game Room Club

PROGRAM UPDATE WITH SLIGHT TIME CHANGE :

The JCC Beacon Program at THS has decided to change the name of their Video Game Club program to GAME ROOM CLUB!

This program will still be open to those in grades k-8, and will run every Saturday (8:30-10:15am, 10:30-12:15pm and 12:30-2:15pm). They will be offered a variety of different board games to choose from. Some weeks will even include electronic games on the computer that will display on the Smart Board in the classroom. Every so often, we will even have a Nintendo Switch available for our gamers to use! We still welcome our gamers to bring their own handheld devices to interact virtually with their peers. However, please keep in mind, we are not responsible for any damaged, lost or stolen devices. If your child is already enrolled in our Game Room Club program, they are all set for our new and improved gaming program! The JCC Beacon Program at THS is now hosting a video game club. This program is open to those in grades k-8. Participants will be playing video games on a Nintendo Switch with their peers, interacting virtually. We hope this program will help children come together in a friendly and competitive way. This program will bring the gaming community together through their likes and dislikes, as well as their attempts to try something new and out of their comfort zone. We welcome all gamers, beginners and advanced. Participants are more than welcome to bring their own handheld devices, however, we are NOT responsible for damaged/lost/stolen items.

Start date: Saturday, September 29, 2018 
This program will be every Saturday from 8:30-2:30pm. Participants from other Beacon programs are more than welcome to come either before or after their Saturday classes. SEATS ARE LIMITED.

Classes will be 8:30-10:30am, 10:30-12:30pm and 12:30-2:30pm. When registering for this program please select the correct time slot!

Registration will open on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 7pm.

During registration, we ask that you do not contact our Outreach Coordinator Brianna directly, as all the information you need is on this website. If you have any further questions, please email us, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Once you select a time slot, there will be no switching, as all the classes will have other participants, and each time slot is only allowed a certain number of students. Please choose carefully when registering.

To register: Please select the appropriate time slot your child would like to participate in. We ask that you complete the registration in its entirety, as the spot will NOT be reserved if you leave any information blank. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
